This trek is one of the exiting trekking destinations in Nepal, which leads you to the most spectacular Mt. Everest base camp. Mount Everest has a significant value to the trekkers or for them who has a dream to see top of the world very closely. While you will be at Kalapathar viewpoint, it offers breath taking view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhtse, Mt. Nuptse, Pumori, Amadablam, Lobuche and other many snow covered peaks.

This high mountain base camp trek begins with 43 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The trail follows around three and half hours to reach Phakding, it will be first night stop of the trek. The trail follows along Dudh Koshi valley to Namche Bazar is very thrilling and spending a day with good hospitality.

Namche Bazar is the unofficial capital of Sherpa-land and you will have a day rest for acclimatization to reduce the risk of high altitude sickness.  From Namche, the trek continue to Khumjung and Tyangboche monastery, the base of Sherpa culture. Before heading to Kalapathar and Everest Base Camp trek, we suggest you to take another a day rest at Dingboche for acclimatization and some side trips.  The last destination of the trek is Everest Base Camp from where you can snap shoot Mt. Everest, Glacier and other huge major mountains as well you will have an experience of mountain territory. Finally the trip trace back to Kathmandu flight from Lukla.


Everest Journey Trip Itinerary:Everest expedition base camp

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2800m. then trek to Phakding 2652m. or, Manjo.
Day 04: Phakding/Manjo – Namche Bazaar (3440m.)
Day 05: Acclimatization, hiking to Everest View Hotel/Khumjung village (3790m.)
Day 06: Namche Bazaar – Tengboche (3867m.)
Day 07: Tengboche – Pheriche (4243m.)
Day 08: Pheriche – Lobuche (4930m.)
Day 09: Labuche – Gorakshep (5288m.) & climb Kala Pattar (5545m.)
Day 10: Explore Everest Base Camp C (5245m.) & back to Labuche.
Day 11: Lobuche – Dingboche 4530m.
Day 12: Dingboche – Tengboche.
Day 13: Tengboche – Namche Bazaar.
Day 14: Namche Bazaar – Lukla and transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 15: Lukla – Kathmandu by flight & transfers to Hotel.
Day 16: Kathmandu free.
Day 17: Last minute, transfer to Airport for your onward journey.

Expenses For Trek to Everest: The cost for Trekking to Everest will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during the trek will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guide, assistant guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of the trek. For these reasons on the same Everest region trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially.
