Mt. Tilaicho Base Camp treking has been considered one of the best routes for the views of fabulous mountains, landscapes and have a adventurous experience in central western Himalayas of Nepal. The trekking route follows Annapurna circuit trek until Manang village and after Manang the trail continue towards Base Camp of Tilicho (4,800m.) via Khangsar village. Before entering to approach for base camp you will have acclimatization at Manang. This is needed to reduce possible risk of altitude sickness bacuase trekking route passes through high altitude of Tilicho Lake 4,949m. and Mesokanto pass (5099m.). After crossing Mesokanto Pass, the trail will decent to Jomsom in the lower Mustang region. During the pass, you can see very spectacular close views of Dhaulagiri range including Nilgiri peak, Tilicho peak,Tilicho Lake, Gangapurna peak, ice-fall glaciers and Annapurna Himalayan range.
This high pass trek in Annapurna region begins from Syage and end at Jomsom. But there is another option to extention the trip by continue trek to Annapurna loop via natural hot spring and reach the best view point of the Annapurna region known as Ghorepani Poon hill, after viewed the panoramic Himalayan scenery trek to Naya pul then drive back to pokhara and return back to Kathmandu.

Expenses For Tilicho Mesokanto Pass Trekking: The cost for the trek in Tilicho Base Camp will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during the trek will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses.
