Mt. Chekijo peak (6,257m.) located in the Gaurishankar mountain region in the district of Dolkaha. The climbing permit was first issued in 2002 and since then Mt Chekijo has had less than 110 attempts made on its summit. The recognized route is Charikot-Simigaon-Beding-BC.Safety is a major consideration during all our expeditions however there are dangers involved in climbing 6000m, 7000m and 8000m peaks that cannot be avoided.

| Expenses For Expedition In Nepal: The cost for Chekijo peak climbing will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and trek to Chekijo base camp will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your trip climb to chekijo peak, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van. The size of climbing team as well number of climbing guide and porters required will also affect the total cost of the expedition. For these reasons on the same Chekijo peak expedition programs can vary in price quite substantially. |
