Mera Peak is most popular and highest permitted peak among the trekking peaks in Everest region of Nepal. The climbing trip to Mera peak is great opportunity to all the
experience trekkers and amateur climbers, who dreams and dare to stand on the mountain summit with an scenes of great achievement. It lies to the south of Everest, dominating the watershed of the thickly wooden and remote Hinku valley.
This peak is technically straightforward though it demands physical fitness due to the high pass and summit. The climb from Mera La 5,415m. on the northern face to the summit is gradual with an outstanding mountain panorama of the Eastern Nepal Himalayas always in sight. The summit of the peak offers truly splendid views of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Cho-Oyu (8,201m), Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,463m), Kangchenjunga (8,586m), Nuptse (7,855m) and Chamlang (7,319m) amongst many others.

| Expenses For Climb To Mera peak: The cost for Mera Peak climbing will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during the trek to Mera Peak base camp will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your Nepal peak climbing trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van. The size of climbing team as well number of climbing guide and porters required will also affect the total cost of the expedition. For these reasons on the same trip of Mera climb can vary in price quite substantially. |
