Mt Ombaigaichen situated in the Mahalangur Himalayan range in Everest region of Nepal. The climbing permit issued at first in 2002 and is rarely climbed. The recognized route is Lukla-Namche Bazaar, Ama Dablam Base Camp, Ombigaichen Base Camp. The peak looked a little more interesting from Ogre and can been seen as a curved ridge.

Mt. Ombigaichen Expedition Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu, preperation for expedition.
Day 03: Transfer to the airport, fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3446m).
Day 05: Trek to Khumjung
Day 06: Khumjung, for acclimatization.
Day 07: Trek to Tengboche Monastery
Day 08: Trek to Mt. Ama Dablam Base Camp.
Day 09: Trek to Ombigaichen Base Camp, 5200m.
Day 10-17: Climbing Period Mt. Ombigaichan.
Day 18: Cleaning Base Camp.
Day 19: Trek to Tengboche Monastery
Day 20: Trek to Khumjung
Day 21: Trek to Phakding
Day 22: Trek to Lukla
Day 23: Fly to Kathmandu
Day 24: Lukla to Kathmandu by flight.
Day 25: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 26: Transfer to International Airport and fly home.

Expenses For Mt. Ombigaichen Expedition: The cost for climb to Ombigaichen will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and trek to Ombigaichen base camp will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your Nepal peak climbing trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van. The size of climbing team as well number of climbing guide and porters required will also affect the total cost of the expedition. For these reasons on the same Ombigaichen peak climbing trip can vary in price quite substantially.

Camping Trek Cost Includes:
