This trek is one of the exiting trekking destination in Everest region - Nepal, which lead you to the most spectacular mount Everest base camp. Mt. Everest has a significant value to the adventurous lover’s or for them who has a dream to see and feel it. The Kalapathar viewpoint offers magnificant view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Lobuche and other many more snow caped peaks.
Everest Base Camp trek starts with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The trail follows around three hours to reach at Phakding, which is our first night stop of the trek. Following the trek via Dudh Koshi valley to Namche Bazar is very thrilling and spending a day with good hospitality to the full.
The trek continue from Namche to Khumjung and Tyangboche monastery, the base of Sherpa culture. It is a push to Kalapathar and Everest Base Camp trek with a day rest at Dingboche for acclimatization and some side trips before climb to more high altitude . This is our last destination to Everest Base Camp from where we can snap shoot Mt. Everest including other major popular mountains. Finally we will back to Kathmandu by flight from Lukla.

Day 01 Arrival, transfer to hotel
Day 02 Kathmandu / Lukla (a 45 minute flight) trek to Phakding (2652 m.)
Day 03 Phakding / Namche Bazaar (3446 m.)
Day 04 Namche Bazaar rest,
Day 05 Namche Bazaar / Tyangboche (3867 m.)
Day 06 Tyangboche / Pheriche (4252 m.)
Day 07 Pheriche / Lobuche (4930 m.) or Dingboche (4260m)
Day 08 Lobuche rest
Day 09 Lobuche / Kalapather (5545 m.) Gorak Shep
Day 10 Gorak Shep / Everest Base Camp / Lobuche (4930 m.)

Expenses For The Trip: The cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during the trek will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guide, assistant guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of the trek. For these reasons on the same trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially. |
