Gokyo Lake and Gokyo Ri is one of the popular destinations for trekkers in Everest region. Gokyo Ri is the closest viewpoint to see the huge mountain range including Mt. Everest along with Mt. Cho oyu, Mt. Nuptse and Mt. Lhotse. Himalayan glacier and dynamic mountains Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Labuche, and Mt. Makalu are in surroundings, which are fabulous attraction of the trek. This trekking also makes you aware of Sherpa village, Buddhist monks and monasteries. Though the local Sherpa offer you smiling face always on the way in spite of they spend terrify life in the mountains.
Your trek start from Lukla where you fly from Kathmandu. Lukla is transit point where most of the trekkers and mountaineers begin their trips ( Mera Peak climbing, Everest Gokyo trek, Everest Kalapathar trek and all the high mountain expedition) in the Everest region. You will astonished by the view of enormous mountains, forest, hills and villages on your flight. As trail leads to high altitude, you will have acclimatization in Namche Bazar. Ultimately, you will grab the final destination Gokyo. You will fascinated by capturing the mind-blowing view of Himalayan range, glacier and villages. Finally you will back to Kathmandu by flight from Lukla.
